Ingredients

  1. 1 kgmutton
  2. 3 cuprice
  3. For yakhni
  4. 1onion
  5. 1 podgarlic
  6. 2 inchginger
  7. 2 inchcinnamon stick
  8. 7-8black pepper
  9. 5-6cloves
  10. 2black cardamom
  11. 1badian ka phool
  12. 1 tbspcumin seeds
  13. 2 tbspdry coriander seeds
  14. 2 tbspfennel seeds
  15. For baghar
  16. as neededOil
  17. 1onion
  18. 1 tspcumin seeds
  19. 1 tspblack cumin seeds
  20. as neededSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Wash meat nicely and put in a large vessel

  2. 2

    Add roughly chopped onion, ginger, garlic

  3. 3

    Add all dry spices for yakhni. Add water and cook till meat is done.

    When meat become soft than separate meat from yakhni and keep a side. discard boiled spices

  5. 5

    Soak rice in water for 1/2 hr

  6. 6

    Take a big vessel and add oil in it

  7. 7

    Sliced onions thinly and add into heated oil. Add cumin seeds and black cumin seeds and sautay till onions become dark brown

  8. 8

    Now add boiled meat into onions and fry

  9. 9

    Now add yakhni and let it Boil with meat

  10. 10

    Now add soaked rice, mix and cook till rice become soft.

  11. 11

    Now keep vessel on simmer till 10-15 minutes after covering the lid

  12. 12

    Now turn off heat and mix rice gently

  13. 13

    Dish out and serve with green raita and salad

  14. 14
