Wash and soak dal for 30 mins.

Heat up pressure cooker add ghee then asafoetida, cumin seeds.

Add chopped ginger, onion, dal, salt and turmeric.

Add water and cook for one whistle.

When cool blend it and once again heat it and serve hot.

This can be used as soup or meal for infants.
