Ingredients

  • 250 gmssprouted matki
  • 1 tspoil
  • 1 tspmustard seeds
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 pinchhing
  • 3-4curry leaves
  • 1 inchtamarind
  • 1 tspjaggery
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tbspgodha masala
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    In a pan heat oil, add mustard seeds,cumin seeds, hing and curry leaves let it splutter..

  2. 2

    Now add the sprouted matki, add 1/2 cup water, salt and tamarind mix well and let it cook for 5 mins..

  3. 3

    Once cooked and soft add red chilli powder, goda masala and jaggery and mix well and let it simmer for a few more minutes.. Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve with chapati or it even tastes good with bread..

    Even simple yoh can also eat it as is with some farsan on top.. It is one of my favourite snack option..
