Ingredients

2 servings
  • 1 1/2 cupschopped fenugreek (methi) leaves
  • 1/2 cupwhole wheat flore (gehun ka atta)
  • 1/2 cupbesan (bengal gram flore)
  • 1 1/2 tspginger-green chilli paste
  • 1/2lemon juice
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder(haldi)
  • 2 tbssesame (til)
  • 1 tspgaram masala
  • 1 tspsugar
  • 1 tspchilli powder
  • 1/4 tspasafoetida(hing)
  • to tastesalt
  • 3 tbsoil +oil for frying

Steps

30 min.
  1. 1

    Combine the methi and all the remaining ingredients in a bowl and knead in to dough, using approx. 3 tbsp of water.

    Take some portion of dough and shape roughly in to an oval by rolling it between your palms and fingers.

    Fry these muthias in hot oil, a few at a time, on a low flame till they turn golden brown.

    Serve these crunchy Methi Muthias with green chutney and sauce.
