Two-Ingredient Creamy Chocolate Banana

Freezing bananas breaks the fibers and makes them creamier, so I used frozen bananas to make the filling like banana cream.
The pieces of banana are very cold, so be quick when coating them in chocolate!
It's best to use a double boiler to melt the chocolate. Recipe by pogue

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cut the bananas into bite-sized pieces and freeze. (This is very important!) Break the chocolate into small pieces.
- 2
Put the chocolate over a double boiler or microwave for 1 minute to melt. Using two spoons, thoroughly coat the frozen bananas with the chocolate.
- 3
Place the pieces of chocolate coated banana on a sheet of aluminum foil or parchment paper to let the chocolate harden at room temperature. (It should harden quickly since the bananas are cold.)
- 4
Wait until the bananas inside the chocolate completely defrost. They will not be creamy if they are still frozen! This should take about 20 minutes.
- 5
The bananas are perishable, so keep these in the refrigerator or freezer once they are done. Defrost when you're ready to serve.

I made a banana version of my original apple brownie recipe. When you microwave the banana, it will melt and you'll get a smooth batter. If you'd prefer the banana to keep its texture, mash it with a fork instead of microwaving it, then add it to the mixture. If the chocolate you are using is not so sweet, add some more sugar. This is just something that I came up with on the spot. If you're not going to eat it right away, you can coat the bananas with strained apricot jam to prevent discoloration.*You can use the glacage fromfor the chocolate sauce. It's a convenient sauce that you can make a lot of and keep stored.*When you're melting the chocolate in the microwave, mix it as you warm it up. Keep your eye on it and adjust the cooking time accordingly. Since it's on the bottom of the tart, you do not need to warm it in a hot water bath. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -

I had lots of chocolate left over from Valentine's Day, so I topped it on my breakfast toast. If mincing the chocolate is too much trouble, it's fine to just break it up and place it on the bread. The banana will melt better if it's sliced. It's definitely tastier if you spread margarine on the bread. Perhaps this is because the salt in the margarine brings out the sweetness of the chocolate and banana? Recipe by Donpintan cookpad.japan -
