Ingredients

  1. 1-2 lbsground Turkey
  2. 1/2large onion diced
  3. 1 tbspolive oil for sautéing
  4. 1 1/2 cupspar boiled rice
  5. 3-4 cupschicken broth or mushroom broth
  6. 1 bagfrozen peas
  7. 2 cupsdiced mushrooms
  8. 1 canhealthy request cream of mushroom soup
  9. 1/2 bagfat free shredded cheddar cheese
  10. Salt and pepper to taste and 1 tbsp garlic powder
  11. Serve with Parmesan cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    Brown the ground Turkey and onion in the olive oil. Add seasoning.

  2. 2

    Once cooked through, add the broth and mushrooms. Bring to a boil and add rice. Cook for 18 min til absorbed and stir often

  3. 3

    Once rice is cooked through and add a little more broth if needed and add the cheese and cream of mushroom. Stir til melted and fold in steamed peas.

  4. 4

    Serve with Parmesan cheese
