Indeed every recipe finds a special mention.Every time,with friends n pg mates,we learn several tips ,it's alwz different ,so far region is concerned...n every recipe has specific flavor in my life...this recipe is so simple, with cloud of spices n consistency of soup ...but rich n healthy...I cooked several times for my friends n my loved ones....
I try to enrich with each time effort.
Hope all wl b able to relate...
Cooking like music has no barriers,I believe I learnt every time while discussed with aunties n mom's of my friends as well...so let's give it a try once more ..here we go....

Steps

Pressure cook Dal for 2 whistles,to get Dal not mushy but just breaking
Put the veggie too..don't worry it won't break or melt away.
This should be done with salt n turmeric.
Allow pressure to b released normally - 2
Now for gravy,we need to add in a kadai two spoon. Of oil refined,don't use ghee or butter...it's simple food but delicious in itself...
Add onion,once translucent,add ginger garlic paste,green chilli..
Allow it to b cooked,for raw smell to go off. - 3
Time to add spices coriander,cumin crushed...less then finer.
Add sabut garam masala tossed on pan without oil...n powdered - 4
Once oil releases,...add the pressure items with water...don't discard that water to add fresh water.its gud to taste,
Now add crushed into powder kasur methi.
