Dahi vada

Wash and soak dal in three cups of cold water overnight. Drain off the excess water next morning.

Take Dal, salt, ginger, green chillies to a grinder and grind into a coarse paste

Now empty the paste in a big bowl and add whole zeera, some chopped coriander leaves and whisk for five minutes.

Heat sufficient oil in a wok

Wet palm and take a tablespoon of batter on the palm. Make a whole in the center and flip it in the hot oil. It will take the shape of vada.
But fry on medium flame. - 6
Fry each until light golden.
Drain the wadas and soak them in sufficient quantity of warm water.
Leave for two minutes.

Whisk yogurt well with rock salt and sugar to taste.
To serve, place wadas on a plate and drizzle some mint chutney and sweet date and tamarind chutney.

Sprinkle roasted cumin powder.
Garnish with coriander leaves and pomegranate kernels.
Add nylon sev if you like.
