I thought of a curry that is simple to make in the summer and is good for the body.

Please flavor with mirin and ketchup to taste. My family adds mentsuyu noodle sauce and oyster sauce for flavor. This also tastes delicious with green pepper and bamboo shoots. Please change out the scum removal sheet halfway through if there is a lot at Step 3. Recipe by Renbasu

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 200 gramsGround pork
  2. 1 pieceMinced ginger
  3. 1 cloveFinely chopped garlic
  4. 1 stalkJapanese leek cut into small pieces
  5. 1 bunchChinese chives (cut into 3 cm length).
  6. 1 bagBean sprouts
  7. 6Cherry tomatoes
  8. 1 tbspSesame oil
  9. 4plates worth Curry roux (block)
  10. 600 mlWater
  11. 1 tbspMirin
  12. 1 tbspTomato ketchup
  13. 4servings Plain cooked rice
  14. 2sheets Scum removal sheets

Cooking Instructions

    Heat sesame oil in a pot, and saute the garlic, ginger, and green onions until they turn a nice color without scorching.

    Next, add ground pork, and saute until the meat is cooked through.

    Add water, lay a scum removal sheet on top, and boil over low heat for 5 minutes.

    Turn off the heat, add curry roux and dissolve, add Chinese chives, bean sprouts, and cherry tomatoes, and boil over low heat for about 3 minutes.

    Arrange rice onto a plate, and top with Chinese chive and bean sprout nutrients curry. (BTW, I used multi-grain rice). Add red chili oil for spice.
