My family quite often asks me to make this dish.

The egg-flour mixture sticks to the calamari quite nicely.

My family quite often asks me to make this dish.

The egg-flour mixture sticks to the calamari quite nicely.

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1Calamari
  2. 50 gramsWhite flour
  3. 1Egg
  4. 60 mlWater
  5. 100 gramsPanko
  6. 1Oil for deep frying

Cooking Instructions

    Remove the guts from the calamari and peel its skin off. Cut into ring-shaped slices (chop the tentacles and fins into chunks).

    Coat the squid evenly with flour (unlisted; 2-3 tablespoons).

  3. 3

    Mix the flour and egg.

  4. 4

    Add the water and continue mixing.

  5. 5

    Dredge the calamari rings in the egg mixture and then the panko.

  6. 6

    You can make this much with a single calamari.

    Deep-fry.

  8. 8

    Voila! It's done.
