Homemade Caesar Dressing & Croutons

Shop bought products contain thickening stabilizers and preservatives which I am not keen on. When I saw the ingredients listed, I thought I could make it myself. Since I started making home-made dressing, my husband has become a fan of Caesar salad.
The secret is the grated garlic and Parmesan cheese! As for the croutons, try to dry them out rather than baking them if you want to make without burning. Recipe by LazyHata

Steps
- 1
Mix all the ingredients well. If you like, add some salt. Dilute with milk to your liking.
- 2
For the croutons: Cut the bread into 1 cm cubes. Bake in the 180℃ oven for 5 minutes taking care not to burn it. If using a toaster oven, bake in a shorter time.
- 3
Any leftover croutons can be stored in a Ziploc bag. It will store up to 2 months in a cool place.
- 4
Serve with vegetables of your choice, golden fried bacon, crispy croutons and the dressing on top.
- 5
Things tend to bake quicker with sheets of aluminium foil on the baking tray, so please adjust baking times as necessary.
