Crunchy & Slightly Sweet Cinnamon Cookies

I'm not a fan of sweets, so I reduced the sweetness. The crunchiness and light sweetness are addictive. This is a simple and quick cookie recipe.

If using unsalted butter, add a pinch of salt. You can replace the butter with some vegetable oil, but it tastes better with butter. Adjust the amount cinnamon to taste. Recipe by Yukimaru

Ingredients

7 servings
  1. 100 gramsCake flour
  2. 3 tspCinnamon
  3. 20 gramsSugar
  4. 30 gramsSalted butter
  5. 2 tbspMilk

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Melt the butter in the microwave (about 20 seconds) and then mix in the sugar.

  2. 2

    Mix in the milk.

  3. 3

Mix in the cinnamon. I love cinnamon, so I used 2 teaspoons.

  4. 4

Add the flour and mix until no longer powdery, but don't over mix it. You don't need to sift the flour.

  5. 5

    It should look like this.

  6. 6

Sandwich the dough between plastic wrap and roll out to 3-4 mm thickness. Cut out cookies with your preferred cookie cutters.

  7. 7

Bake in an oven heated to 180°C for 20-25 minutes.

  8. 8

    All done!
