Use generous amounts of green pepper, onion and ginger. These three ingredients are important. (I tried using onion when I had no green onions in. I felt it needed a touch of green, so I added green peppers. I like this version.) You can add other ingredients, too. Recipe by Raby

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2Eggs
  2. 1/2Onion
  3. 2Green peppers
  4. 2pieces Ginger
  5. 4Wiener sausages
  6. 2 tspChicken stock granules
  7. 2 tspOyster sauce
  8. 1 tspSoy sauce
  9. 700 gramsHot cooked white rice
  10. 1Vegetable oil
  11. 1as required Pepper
  12. 1Salt

Cooking Instructions

    Finely chop the onion and ginger. Roughly chop the green peppers and sausages. Beat the eggs.

    Coat a frying pan in vegetable oil and set the heat to high. When hot, quickly fry the egg and set it aside on a plate.

  3. 3

    Coat the frying pan with vegetable oil again, add the onions and fry over medium heat.

  4. 4

    When the onion has wilted, add the green peppers and sausages.

  5. 5

    Mix in the chicken stock granules, then add the rice and mix everything together as it fries.

  6. 6

    Add the oyster sauce, soy sauce and pepper and fry some more. Taste it and add a little salt if necessary.

    Finally, mix in the egg from Step 2, and it's done.
