This is traditional way to make pickles. such type of pickles can be stored at room temperature for whole year. This is spicy, tangy pickle of raw mangoes. It tastes awesome with paratha or if you mix this pickle in plain rice also, it tastes really good.no extra preservatives added ,salt and oil are used here as preservatives.

Ingredients

  1. 2 kgraw mangoes
  2. 1/2 kgoil
  3. 200 gmYellow mustard dal
  4. 4 tbspred chilli powder
  5. 3 tbspturmeric powder
  6. 1/2 cupsalt
  7. 2 tbspjaggery
  8. 3 tbspreadymade mango pickle masala
  9. 1 tspfenugreek seeds powder

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and dry mangoes

    Cut in small pieces

  3. 3

    Add salt and turmeric powder

  4. 4

    Mix well and keep aside for overnight

  5. 5

    Make tempering

  6. 6

    Add all spices in jot oil

  7. 7

    Saute for 2,3 min on low flame

  8. 8

    After cooling, mix tempering in mangoes

  9. 9

    Pickle is ready
