Popular and delicious simple subzi prepared from blanched spinach, onion, garlic and spices. Extra tempering of fried garlic enhance the flavour.

Steps

First wash and blanch spinach leaves. Grind it with green chillies, ginger pieces in mixer jar to make smooth puree. Keep aside.
Peel and chopped onions into long slices. - 2
In cooking pan add heat ghee. Temper with cumin seeds, crushed corainder seeds. Add onion and saute till pinkish. Add tumeric powder and besan and saute till brown in colour.

Add prepared spinach puree. Add garam masala, hand crushed kasuri methi,salt and 1/4 cup water. Mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes.

Peel and slice garlic cloves. In tadka pan add heat ghee. Add cumin seeds as splutter add garlic slices. Saute till golden brown. Add dry red chillies. Add sesame seeds. Off the flame.

Transfer prepared Palak gravy/ subzi in serving bowl. Pour prepared tadka on it.

Serve/ Relish Delicious Hot Dhaba Style Lasooni Palak with tandoori rotis/ Naan, onion slices and lemon wedge.
