Ingredients

15 minutes
6 servings
  1. 1 cupDessicated coconut
    Coconut Burfi
  2. 1 cupSama rice coarse powder
    Vrat Ka Pulao/ Sama Ka Pulao
  3. 2 cupsHot milk
  4. 1 tsp / 4-5 dropdRose emulsion / pink food colour
  5. 3-4 dropsRose essense
  6. 1/4 cupCashew powder
  7. 1 tspCardamom powder
  8. 1/4 cupGhee
  9. 1/2 cupOrganic sugar or sugar substitute

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    First, heat ghee in a saucepan. Slow roast the sama rice powder till aromatic. Now mix in cashew powder and 2 tablespoon coconut.

    Then add the hot milk and keep stirring. Cover and cook till soft. Add extra milk or hot wate if needed.

    Then add sugar and stir cook again for 5 minutes. Cover and keep for 1 minute and remove from heat. Cool to room temperature. Mix in pink rose emulsion, cardamom powder and combine well.

    Then take out lemon sized portions and roll into balls. Coat with dessicated coconut.

    Garnish with rose petals. Offer to Maa Durga and recieve devine blessings 🙏
