Ogbono soup
Nigerian soup...mainly from Igbo Land.
Steps
- 1
First of all,I start by cooking my meat, soaked my stockfish with hot water and salt....I mean I just prepared my meats first.
- 2
On a clean pot, add in your palm oil, followed by my onions and scotch bonnet.... I fry them for at least 2 minutes
- 3
After that, I add in my ogbono powder and mix for at least 3 minutes
- 4
I then add in my my stock water together with the meat....followed by my stockfish, crayfish, kpomo and what have you...I allow it for 1 minute before adding in my ugwu leaves.....you can't imagine how drawy my ogbono turns out.... Tadaa and its ready to be served with any swallow of your choice.
