Seasoned Spinach and Ground Meat

I had a lot of spinach lying around so I simply sautéed it with other ingredients and it turned out pretty tasty.
If you find the gaminess of pork too distinctive, I recommend using chicken instead.
I made a large portion, so I made a quiche with egg mixture from this recipe for easy quiche with spinach and bacon. I highly recommend it!
This dish is great for expectant mothers because it has a lot of iron and is also low in calories! For 4 servings. Recipe by Chuutoramo-

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cut the carrot into thin strips. Place in a heatproof container, and microwave for 1 minute at 500 W.
- 2
Boil spinach in boiling water, and cool in cold water. When cooled, squeeze the excess water, and cut into the same length as the carrot.
- 3
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan, add ground meat, and stir-fry. When it becomes crumbly, add sugar, sake, and soy sauce, and simmer.
- 4
Combine the carrot and spinach in a bowl. Turn off the heat when the sauce is almost gone. Put the meat with the sauce into the bowl, and mix well, then you're done.

Premade frozen vegetable can cost quite a bit, but if you make it yourself, you don't need to worry about additives and preservatives and it'll be cheaper too.
