I learned this recipe from my mother. I left the simple procedure as-is, and increased the richness.

The ketchup is sweet, so add more Worcestershire sauce if you want to pack more of a punch.
Reducing the amount of water and eating it with vegetables is also good~ . For 2 people. Recipe by :hirokokko

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 150 gramsThinly sliced pork
  2. 2 mediumOnions
  3. 200 mlWater
  4. 2 tbspFlour
  5. 1cube Consommé Soup stock cube
  6. 1 pieceButter
  7. 200 mlKetchup
  8. 1 tbspJapanese Worcestershire-style sauce
  9. 1 dashSake

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Place the thinly sliced meat, sake, and 1 tablespoon of flour into a pot, and rub in the meat. Creating extra dishes to wash is too much of a hassle, so...

  2. 2

Toss the sliced onion and butter into the pot, and turn on the heat.

  3. 3

Add flour to Step 2, and sauté until it melds together. (It burns easily, so keep an eye on it).

  4. 4

Add water and consommé, and stew a bit over low heat.

  5. 5

Add ketchup to the pot, stew some more, add Worcestershire sauce for the finishing touch, and turn off the heat.

  6. 6

After letting the flavors blend together, serve over rice and enjoy!
