First wash the amla. Now take half a glass of water in the cooker and boil the amla for 3 whistles. When the boiled amla cools, remove its seeds and smash it.

Take this smashed amla in a nonstick pan and heat it for 2-3 minutes. Now add jaggery and mix well.

Now when this mixture thickens a little, add black salt, black pepper powder, ginger powder, lemon juice, carom,cumin and dry mango powder stir well. Keep this mixture on very low heat and let it thicken while stirring. After it thickens completely, blown off gas stove.

Take it out in another vessel. After 3-5 hours, after it gets completely cold, roll it into small balls.

Now sprinkle sugar powder over it. So that these pills do not stick to one another. This amla gatagat is ready.

You can store this "Amla Gatagat" for a year.
