Cooking Instructions
- 1
Slice the eggplant and zucchini into rounds. Soak the eggplant in water. Cut the bacon into bite-sized pieces and mince the garlic.
- 2
Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté the garlic until fragrant, then add the bacon and cook.
- 3
Add the eggplant and zucchini, season with salt and pepper, and sauté thoroughly.
- 4
If you get carried away flipping the pan, the zucchini might slide out. If you quickly put it back, it's all good.
- 5
Add the ingredients marked with ◯ and let it simmer. Meanwhile, boil water for the pasta.
- 6
When the sauce is thick enough to leave a trail when you drag a spatula through it, add the oyster sauce. This is key. Check on the pasta.
- 7
Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce.
- 8
Plate and serve!
- 9
It might not look fancy, but it's delicious when you mix it all together. So rich!

Meltingly Soft Eggplant and Bacon Tomato Pasta Meltingly Soft Eggplant and Bacon Tomato Pasta
This pasta really puts the spotlight on the eggplant rather than the tomato sauce. The fat from the bacon adds fragrance and umami to the eggplant. Enjoy the tastiness of the eggplant, which doesn't take a back seat to the bacon-flavored tomato sauce.1. Make sure to check the saltiness of the pasta boiling water.2. Pan fry the eggplant slowly while the pasta is cooking. Take care not to let it burn.3. Stop cooking the pasta just before the al dente stage. It will continue cooking when you mix it with the sauce. For 2 to 3 servings. Recipe by bunny fish cookpad.japan -

Spring Cabbage and Bacon Pasta Spring Cabbage and Bacon Pasta
This is a simple past with a light but flavorful sauce. Sweet spring cabbage is surprisingly nice with pasta (regular cabbage is delicious as well!). The pasta is cooked right along with the cabbage and bacon which infuses it with extra flavor and brings out the natural sweetness of the cabbage. You only need one pot to cook and takes no longer than 15-20 minutes! Make sure you don't put in too much pasta or the flavor will be pretty thin. Felice -
