Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoonchicken bouillon powder (like Better Than Bouillon)
  • 1 teaspoondashi granules
  • 1/2 teaspoonor more salt, to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoonyuzu kosho (Japanese yuzu pepper paste)
  • 1 teaspoontoasted sesame oil
  • 1 2/3-2 cupshot water (400–500 ml)

Steps

    Combine the chicken bouillon powder, dashi granules, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Taste and adjust the salt to your liking.

    Bring water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles. Add 1 2/3 to 2 cups (400–500 ml) of the hot water to the seasoning mixture and stir well.

    Drain the noodles thoroughly and add them to the soup. Stir in the yuzu kosho and sesame oil.

  4. 4

    Top with your favorite toppings and serve. (The photo shows duck and green onion on top, without sesame oil. It’s also delicious served cold.)
