  • 1 1/2 CupsAlaskan King Crab Meat [steamed - feathered or cubed]
  • 2 (8 oz)Packages Philadelphia Cream Cheese [room temp]
  • 1/2 CupQuality Sour Cream [less if you want a thicker spread]
  • 1/4 CupFresh Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tbspFresh Dill [+ reserves for bagels]
  • as neededLemon Wedges
  • 2Baby Cucumbers [minced -reserve 1 for bagels]
  • 1/4 CupCelery [minced]
  • 1/2 CupRed Onions [minced + reserves for bagles]
  • 2 tbspFresh Chives
  • 1 tbspFine Minced Garlic
  • 2 tbspFresh Cilantro Leaves [+ reserves for bagels]
  • 2 tbspFresh Parsley Leaves [+ reserves for bagels]
  • to tasteSalt & Pepper
  • 2 DashesTabasco Pepper Sauce
  • 1/2 tspOld Bay Seasoning [+ reserves for bagels]
  • 1/2 tspLemon Pepper
  • ● For The Bagels
  • as neededFresh Assorted Bagels
  • as neededButter Lettuce Leaves [chilled]
  • as neededFresh Avocado Slices
  • as neededFresh Firm Tomato Slices [thin slices - chilled]
  • reserved Fresh Crispy Cucumber [thin sliced - chilled]

Steps

10 Minutes
  1. 1

    1.5 pounds of fresh crab pictured.

    Crack your shells and pull your meat. Check meat well for any smaller fractured shells. Feather or cube meat.

    Fine mince all of your vegetables, add herbs and crab meat and mix well in cream cheese and sour cream mixture.

    Place crab spread in a decorative serving bowl and refrigerate. Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro.

    Or, serve spread in individual ramikins.

    To construct your stacked bagel sandwichs - follow steps below. Pictured are toasted onion bagels with crab cheese spread.

    Vegetable platter.

    Tomatoes with fresh Dlll pictured. Add a dash of black pepper and Old Bay Seasoning on top of Tomato.

    Add sliced red onions.

    Add sliced avacados and squeeze lemon juice in the tops to keep from browning.

My culinary specialties as an easy going Chef include Asian, Mexican, Cajun, BBQing, Grilling, Irish Pub food, Low Country foods, anything seafood related, extra spicy foods, fresh meat, extra fresh vegetables, US comfort, kid friendly and super fast, quick and easy foods.
