Shred oyster mushrooms into thin strips.

In a pot, add onion and broth (or water). Bring to a rolling boil.

Add shredded mushrooms and corn kernels (with the liquid).

Add seasonings; chicken seasoning powder or chicken bouillon, salt, white pepper powder and sesame oil. If you dont have sesame oil, you can add homemade onion/garlic oil.

Bring to another boil and the mushroom is cooked. Taste and adjust seasonings accordingly.
For a slightly thicker soup, combine and mix 2-3 tbsp of water and 1/2 a tsp of corn flour. Add to the soup when the soup is boiling the second time. Alternatively, you can also add eggs.
Sprinkle or top with some chopped spring onion. Serve hot.
