Ingredients

  • 2.5 cwater
  • 2.5 chalf and half (light cream)
  • 1.25 cquick grits
  • .5 bunchgreen onions
  • 1 clovegarlic chopped
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 4 ozMexican blend cheese
  • 4 ozSharp cheddar
  • 2 tbsbutter

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine all ingredients except grits and cheese in a pot

  2. 2

    Bring to boil

  3. 3

    Stir in grits

  4. 4

    Reduce heat and simmer for 1hr stirring occasionally

  5. 5

    Blend in cheese and serve
