There are many recipes for Carrot. My son doesn't like the sweet version of carrot. So, I think and tried my invented recipe of carrot Khichdi and it worked out.

There are many recipes for Carrot. My son doesn't like the sweet version of carrot. So, I think and tried my invented recipe of carrot Khichdi and it worked out.
Steps

First, cook the chopped carrots in the microwave oven for 2 minutes or until half cooked, to save time. Heat oil and splutter cumin seeds and ajwain seeds. Fry the small shallots.

Add shallots and fry. Mix turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, chopped tomatoes, kashmiri red chilli powder. Cook on low flame till aromatic and done.

Now mix the half cooked carrots with the masala along with boiled chickpeas. Cook for a while. Mix cooked rice and moong daal. Add garam masala powder. Mix well with a light hand.

Finally, mix the sugar and cook well lightly to gather all. Garnish with chopped pistas and serve with masala curd Thanks.
