Cooking Instructions
- 1
Mix rice with soft furikake seasoning of your choice. I used a seaweed and mentaiko furikake.
- 2
Using about a fist full of rice, shape rice into onigiri triangles (I used a mold to help with the shape). Make sure to compact the rice firmly or else the rice balls will fall apart in the pan when frying
- 3
Add avocado oil in a pan on medium low heat and place onigiri in oil, fry for 4 minutes on each side
- 4
After 4 minutes flip onigiri to other side and brush crispy side with soy sauce
- 5
Once both sides are crispy, brush newly crispy side with soy sauce and wrap each onigiri in nori strip
