Sapodilla Basundi is a creative twist on the traditional Indian dessert. Sapodilla, also known as Chikoo, is a sweet and creamy fruit that pairs perfectly with the rich and creamy texture of Basundi.
Steps

Peel the chikoo and chop it into pieces.

In a large heavy bottomed pan, boil the milk over medium heat.

Reduce the milk to about half it's original consistency, stirring occasionally, until it thicknes and develop a creamy texture.

Add sugar, to the reduced milk. Stir well to combine.

Turn off the gas. And let it cool completely.

When it's completely cool then add chikoo mixture and cardamom powder. Mix very well

Refrigerate for an hour and serve chilled.
