When experimenting with a strawberry vanilla maple version, I found that fresh strawberries make all the difference—freeze-dried strawberries don’t compare. Maple syrup is our sweetener of choice, but for a more neutral sweet flavor, sub the maple syrup for simple syrup. #april2026

Slice strawberries into small pieces and place into glass

Add maple syrup and vanilla bean paste (if you don’t have paste, vanilla extract is fine) to strawberries and muddle

Top strawberries with milk and ice

Make matcha according to ceremonial grade matcha instructions, and mix with 2 tablespoons of water
- 5
Add matcha to the strawberry milk mixture and enjoy!
