This is a recipe inherited from my dear Grandma ... and Grandma get this recipe from my Great-grandmother along with her story.

Like the colonial era, when people were living in misery. They were forced to work --- one of which is farming potatoes --- without being able to feel the results of their labor. Potatoes are agricultural products are much favored by Dutch colonists at the time and because they deeply understand the benefits of the potato itself, especially for the growth of their children.

But they do not want to consume the potato that were small (fear if they are not optimal child growth), so the rest of the crop was used by my great-grandmother and the past to meet their daily needs.
The first time you know that not one of these culinary remember was when I was in elementary school Geluran III when we traveled to Mojokerto, and there I found the potatoes are small in size ( at that time I thought they were really unique potato, rarely like this) so I was probably bought about 1 kg more ... at the house, Grandma surprised at the souvenirs I brought.

She said "Laopo nggowo kentang cilik koyok ngene, awakmu iki tuku ta? --- Why bring small potatoes like this, did you buy it?"
Some days the potatoes were left, but then my grandmother taught me to cook something, that ultimately the first time I know of the dish named KENTANG ONGKLOK and the last time I ate when I was in junior high school.
Proved if we see this dish, people are very creative despite the limitations ... CREAM replaced by coconut milk & CHEESE replaced by eggs (yolk).

Making it is very easy and takes less than 15 minutes . But in this recipe I added chili sauce in the presentation ^ _ ^
