In a hurry stew
I didn't know what to make tonight so I tossed what I could find into a pot & it was a hit!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Boil the noodles.
- 2
Heat olive oil in a large pot, add the onion and sprinkle with garlic salt. Sauté for a few minutes then add the ground turkey and more seasoning of your choice.
- 3
The photo shows my go to seasoning. For this I used the Chicago steak & garlic salt.
- 4
Once the meat is browned add the peppers, tomato, tomato sauce, & water*, simmer covered on low heat for 10 minutes. *for the water you can use the little can of tomato sauce to measure, that way you get all of the sauce.
- 5
Add the noodles (drained) & stir until mixed. Serve topped with shredded cheese.

I used my left over vegetables . One egg plant was gone half bad, used my frozen tomatoes , and add a can of black beans. You can use any can of legumes ( chickpeas , white beans, but lentils would not be a good idea, )if you don’t want to use oven you can use same pot to cook if you are too lazy or have no time. . I think putting then to oven make taste better. Rae -
