Messy Meatloaf
Messy and delicious because I didn't use breadcrumbs.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
I prefer pasture raised 85/15 or 90/10 beef. Started with 1 lb defrosted in a bowl
- 2
roast garlic ahead, sautee onion in olive oil. Add to egg and all other items (without mustard or wine) in bottom of bowl. Blend well without beef first.
- 3
Once ingredents are blended, mix in meat. Now add wine and mustard and mix again. Make sure all meat is mixed well with seasoning. I used a fork to make sure it's shredded and blended. Now add to pan in loaf
- 4
Bake at 325°F for 25 min, I basted twice during baking.
I call this messy because i don't use breadcrumbs and it falls apart easier.

My kids love when I make this and just can't get enough. I took my mom's recipe and jazzed it up a lot. I live in a humid environment so sometimes I need to add more or less breadcrumbs depending on the weather. I recommend using a serrated knife to cut it when finished, it helps to keep the bacon attached to the slices. Chin -

Meatloaf Meatloaf
My mom was a nanny when she was younger, and brought this meatloaf recipe from that family. It's so delicious, I'll never need another meatloaf recipe. Please read the directions first, since this isn't all exact measurements. But trust me, it's not hard to get right. allison.ginger.3
