Soak the gur or jaggery for 2 hours

Take wheat flour, add this melted gur or jaggery in it, add desi ghee, saunf and required water to make a dough, a smooth dough with sweetened richness

Make proper dough by adding dry fruits

Now take a roll and pin and make a roti, a thick roti so that mathi should remain soft by applying little oil on roll and pin

Now take any glass or anything of your choice to give required shape and cut this roti.

Circular shape or square shape, as per choice

Deep fry in oil and serve hot with white butter
