I've been doing green smoothies for breakfast for a short while now but whenever I make a good one, I always forget to write it down! I made this one today and it has a refreshing taste. Really nice to wake you up in the morning. Ginger is great to help settle the stomach and matcha tea contains plenty of antioxidants.

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1lebanese cucumber (roughly chopped)
  2. 3mint
  3. 2 tspgarlic (to taste)
  4. 1 1/2 cupbaby spinach leaves
  5. 1granny smith apple (quartered)
  6. 1/2squeezed lemon
  7. 1 tspmatcha tea
  8. 1 cupcold water
  9. 6cubes of ice

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    To prepare the matcha tea, sift the matcha powder into a small glass/bowl. Pour about 1/3 cup of just below boiling point water onto the powder and whisk with a small whisk.

    Place all ingredients into a high powered blender such as a Thermomix and enjoy :)
