Jam gives our snacks that needed kick. Be it canapes, finger foods, tapas or side meals. Jam Homemade or shelved is just amazing.
Steps

Peel, wash and cut beetroots into cubes. Deseed pepper and add to beetroots. Add water and blend. Ensure well blended.

Pour into suace pan, add salt, sugar and the remaining water used to rinse blender.
- 3
Cook and allow to reduce. Leave a wooden stick in pot to avoid it pouring over.

Continue to cook until water dries out completely.

Allow to cool. Zest lemon and stir. Add preservative which is optional.

Pour into container and airtight.
