Ingredients

30 minutes
4 servings
  1. 200 gmsChicken
  2. 100 gmsshallots
  3. 6red chillies
  4. 1 teaspoonfennel seeds
  5. Curry leaves few
  6. 10 podsgarlic
  7. 30 mlGingelly oil
  8. 1 teaspooncoriander powder
  9. 1/2 teaspoonMustard seeds
  10. 1/2 cupSliced coconut
  11. 1/2 teaspoonturmeric powder
  12. 1 teaspoonsalt

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat 15 ml oil in a pressure cooker and add the chicken

  2. 2

    Saute for a while and add broken redchillies,salt and turmeric powder

  3. 3

    Pressure cook for 4 whistles

  4. 4

    In a kadai,heat the remaining oil,add mustardseeds followed by fennel seeds,shallots,garlic, curry leaves and saute well.

  5. 5

    Once onion turns pink add the cooked chicken and coriander powder and saute till the water dries up and oil oozes out.

  6. 6

    Add the coconut slices, stir well and serve hot.
