Pork Rib Singang Sour Stew

Ingredients

  1. 2 lbBaby back ribs
  2. 3 mediumRoma tomatoes
  3. 1 largeOnion
  4. 3each Taro
  5. 1 cupGreen beans
  6. 1 cupSnap peas
  7. 1 packagesSinigang seasoning
  8. 1as needed Water
  9. 1as needed Salt

Cooking Instructions

    Cut ribs into individual pieces and place in a large pot.

    Roughly chop into med pieces tomatoes and onion and place into the pot.

  3. 3

    Fill pot up with water till pork is covered and add a couple pinches of salt.

  4. 4

    Bring to a boil and lower heat to low and simmer for 1-1.5 hours or till fall off the bone tender.

    Add taro and cook till fork tender. About 5 minutes.

    Add seasoning and rest of the vegetables and cook till done.

  7. 7

    Enjoy with white rice.

    Feel free to add whatever vegetables you like. This is a traditional Filipino dish that I love.
