Ingredients

2 people
  1. 1/2 cupGram
  2. flour (besan)
  3. 1 tbspoil
  4. 1/2 tspmustard seeds (rai)
  5. 1/2 tspcumin seeds( jeera)
  6. 1/4 tspasafoetida (hing)
  7. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  8. 1 tspred chilli powder
  9. 2 tspcoriander cumin powder
  10. 1/2 tbspginger garlic paste
  11. 250 gspring onion washed and chopped , Chop greens and white seperately
  12. 1small onion finely chopped
  13. 1/2 tbsplemon juice
  14. 2 tbspwater
  15. to tastesalt

Steps

    Dry roast the chickpea flour on medium heat on a pan till aromat and golden.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in the same pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida. Add the chopped onion and white spring onion. Saute till onions turn translucent.

    Add ginger garlic paste. Saute for a minute. Add the finely chopped spring onion greens and saute till they shrink.

  4. 4

    Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander-cumin powder.Mix them well. Add the roasted chickpea flour (besan) and salt.

  5. 5

    Mix them well. Sprinkle 2 tbsp water over it and cover and cook for 5-6 minutes till moisture is absorbed. Remove the lid and cook for couple of minutes.

    The lila Kanda chana na lot nu shaak is ready to serve. Serve it hot with plain roti or jowar or bhajri bhakri.
