Ingredients

  1. 250 gramsraw mangoes (washed and peeled)
  2. 200 gramssugar or as per taste
  3. 1/2 tspkashmiri red chilli powder
  4. 1-2dry red chillies finely chopped
  5. 1" ginger julienne
  6. 1/4 tspsalt
  7. 1 tbspvinegar (for chutney to last longer)
  8. Pinchcarom seeds
  9. Oil for tempering
  10. Pinchyellow food colour
  11. Water as required

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a pan add oil then add carom seeds.Let it crackle then add finely chopped red chillies and ginger

  2. 2

    Then add mango and saute a little

  3. 3

    Add sugar.Mix it well.Then add water to cover the mangoes.

  4. 4

    Finally add all the remaining ingredients and allow it to cook until mangoes turn soft.

  5. 5

    Quick and instant mango chutney is ready.
