[Lin's Bistro] Garlic Olive Oil Spaghetti
At the end of the month, many of us wonder what to eat for each meal. With just a few simple ingredients, you can make a flavorful spaghetti dish. The pure taste of garlic, olive oil, and herbs is what makes this pasta special.

Mince the garlic and thinly slice the onion. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add the spaghetti and some salt, and cook until al dente.

Pour olive oil into a pan and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Tilt the pan slightly so the oil and garlic gather at the edge, and cook over medium-low heat to infuse the oil with garlic flavor.

Add a little dried basil and sauté briefly. Add the sliced onion and cook until slightly softened. Pour in a bit of pasta cooking water and bring to a boil. Add the spaghetti and toss until fully cooked.

Season with black pepper and salt, mix well, and remove from heat.

Tip: Tilting the pan helps concentrate the oil and garlic, so you can use less oil.
