Ingredients

  1. 2 cupWheat flour
  2. 1/2 cupGhee
  3. Salt as per taste
  4. 1/2 tspBaking powder
  5. 5-6Boiled or roast potato
  6. 2-3Tomato
  7. 2Brinjajl(round shaped)
  8. 1 cupMustard oil
  9. 2-3 tbspLemmonjuice
  10. 4 tbspnChopped onion
  11. 2 tspChopped garlic
  12. 1 tspChopped ginger
  13. 3 tspChopped green chilli
  14. 1/2 tspBlack pepper powder
  15. 1 tspCarom seeds (ajwain)
  16. 1/2 tspOnion seeds (kallonji)
  17. 1 cupRoasted gram powder (sattu)
  18. pinchAstofodia-a
  19. As neededWater.
  20. 1/2 cupChopped coriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

    For chokha....Take brinjal and tomato wash and greased.in brinjal u make cuts then roast it when it done place it in cold water then Peel it.and mash it.peel and mashed potatoes also.

    Take a big bowl add mashed items.then add 2tb spn onion,1tspn garlic,1/2tspginger,2tspn chilli,salt to taste 1tbspn lemmonjuice 2tbspn mustard oil Mix well add handful chopped corriender leaves.

    For bati...Firstly we Knead flour.take wheat flour add 2tbsp ghee,salt 1/4tsp, baking soda mix well Knead with the help of water.nmake soft dough.

    For filling...Take sattu add 2tb mustard oil,2tb chopped onion, garlic, green chilli,ginger, cardmom seeds, onion seeds, lemmonjuice, black pepper powder, astofodia-a pinch, corriender leavesmix well..Ready for filling.

    Takd a dough divide it into 10-12 equal part,take one on ur palm flattened it and put filling on it shape it.Make all.And fry it into warm ghee till it turned golden..

    U can bake it into different way...In microwave,in cooker,in kadhai,in a plan pan,.traditionaly it make on upla.
