Ingredients

  • 250 gramsPumpkin peeled and diced
  • 1 tspMethi seeds
  • 2 tbspOil
  • Salt as per taste
  • Red chilli powder as preferred
  • 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  • 3 tbspSugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Add oil in a pan

  2. 2

    Add methi

  3. 3

    Add the diced pumpkin. Add turmeric powder and salt

  4. 4

    Add red chilli powder

  5. 5

    When the pumpkin becomes tender add sugar

  6. 6

    Cook till sugar caramelises with pumpkin and you get a jam like consistency

  7. 7

    Serve with puris or parathas
