Wash dal and add to cooker. Add water. Add salt and some oil. Add tge saunf too. Cook for 3 whistles

Heat oil in a pan Add jeera and bay leaf and whole red chillies.

Add chopped onions. Add the ginger garlic paste and green chillies.

When onions change colour Add red chilli powder and garam masala powder
- 5
Add the cooked dal. Add ghee and simmer for a few minutes.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with rice or rotis.
