Cinnamon rolls with raisins

Ingredients

  1. 350 gflour
  2. 3 Tbspsugar
  3. 60 mlmilk
  4. 120 mlwater
  5. 2and 1/4 tsp yeast
  6. 30 gmargarine
  7. 1large egg
  8. Raisins
  9. 1 tspsalt
  10. For filling
  11. 2 Tbspcinnamon
  12. 57 gmargarine
  13. 55 gbrown sugar
  14. For glaze
  15. 1 cupicing sugar
  16. 2 Tbspmilk
  17. 1 tspvanilla essence

Cooking Instructions

    Mix the floor with yeast,salt,raisins and sugar.

    In a separate bowl, put water,milk and the margarine and put in the microwave for the margarine to melt (approx 45 seconds).

    Add the mixture to the flour then add the egg and knead.

    Put the dough in a greased bowl and let it rest for 5min.

    Preheat the oven to 200°c for 10 minutes then turn off before placing the rolls in the oven.

    After the dough has rested for 5min,roll it spread the margarine over it,mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the dough.

    Roll the dough tightly and cut into 9 or 12 even sizes.Place in a greased baking pan,cover with aluminium foil,turn off the oven and let the buns rise for 20 minutes.Remove the foil and set 190°c and bake for 20 mins.

    To make glaze add the icing sugar to the milk and vanilla and stir until lump free and pour over warm rolls.

    I didn't put glaze on mine,but if you are a sweet tooth you'll love it.
