Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupleftover rice
  2. 1/2 tspbutterscotch essence
  3. 1 cupblack grams (urad dal)
  4. 1/2 cupsugar ( can b increased or decreased as per your taste?
  5. 1/2 cupghee (preferably patanjali)
  6. 20 gmswhite chocolate
  7. 2 tbspchocolate fudge sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    Grind the leftover rice with butterscotch essence. You can also use rose or orange essence.

  2. 2

    Knead the ground rice with 1/2 tsp of ghee to make a smooth dough.

  3. 3

    Dry roast urad dal. Let it cool. Grind it along with sugar and sieve it.

  4. 4

    Warm the ghee and add it to the dal and sugar mixture. Make small laddus.

  5. 5

    Make out small bowls with the rice dough and place the laddus in the centre, secure it and place it in a plate.

  6. 6

    Melt some white chocolate and pour it over it. After few minutes pour the fudge sauce. Use other decorations if needed.

  7. 7

    The usage of rice gives texture and also gives a break from the sweetness of the laddu. Makes the laddus look eye appealing. The butterscotch essence in the rice dough also adds uniqueness.
