Ingredients

20 minutes
10 -12 servings
  1. 1 cupmoong daal (washed and dried)
  2. 1/4 cupghee
  3. 1 cupsugar powder or as per sweetness
  4. 1/2 cupmawa
  5. 1& 1/2 cupmilk
  6. 1 tspcardamon powder
  7. 10-12saffron strings..(Soaked in little milk)
  8. as neededPista flakes for garnishing

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Add moong daal in mixer jar and grind to make powder.

    In a pan dry roast the dal for 4 -5 minutes or till it changes it's colour,on low flame.

  3. 3

    After that add milk..+saffron milk stir quickly add ghee stir well add mawa, cardamom powder and sugar mix and.Stir continuously till well combined.Cook for a minute and switch off the flame.

    Let the mixture cool completely.

    Fill the mixture in modak mould and prepare all modak.
