Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the glass noodles, shiitake mushrooms, carrot, and cabbage by washing and cutting them as needed.
- 2
Heat oil over low heat to stir-fry the filling.
- 3
Add the shiitake mushrooms and stir-fry.
- 4
Add the shredded cabbage and carrot, and stir-fry until they soften.
- 5
Season to taste with vegetarian seasoning sauce and sugar.
- 6
Add the mushroom-flavored bouillon cube.
- 7
Once everything is well mixed, add the soaked glass noodles and stir-fry together.
- 8
When the filling is done, let it cool for 20-30 minutes. While waiting, take the spring roll wrappers out of the freezer to thaw.
- 9
Get ready to wrap the spring rolls.
- 10
Mix the all-purpose flour with water to make a paste for sealing the wrappers.
- 11
Carefully separate the spring roll wrappers and place some filling on each one.
- 12
As shown in the picture, fold up the bottom, then fold in the left and right sides.
- 13
Roll up tightly, leaving a bit of space to brush with the flour paste, then finish rolling to seal.
- 14
Once wrapped, you'll have about 10 plump spring rolls. Store them in a zip-top bag in the freezer. When you want to eat them, just take some out to fry.
- 15
Get ready to fry the spring rolls.
- 16
Fry until golden and crispy.
- 17
All done! Grab one and enjoy. Don't forget the dipping sauce!

Fresh Spring Rolls Fresh Spring Rolls
I love fresh spring rolls, so I make them with ingredients that we always have at my house. Using boiled eggs or shrimp turns them into colourful and gorgeous fresh spring rolls. This time I used canned young (mini) corn, but crab-flavoured kamaboko and okra taste delicious and also look beautiful when the spring rolls are sliced in half. It's quicker to rehydrate the rice paper wrappers in hot water, but if they get too soft, they are hard to handle. So I think it's better to rehydrate them in cold water until you get the hang of it to avoid mistakes. If the rice paper wrappers are still too stiff to roll, wait a little until the moisture from the ingredients soften them. They will soon be soft enough to use. For 10 rolls. I used to help make these when I was little, so it is a memorable recipe for me.I made the flavor mild so you can gobble these up. The ingredients are thickened with potato starch flour, so they won't fall apart. It's easier to wrap, and easy to eat. Please feel free to add bamboo shoots, spinach, or whatever you have available at home. For 10 rolls. Recipe by LaLaHappy1 cookpad.japan -
