Hungarian Mushroom Soup

Ingredients

  1. 1 boxmushrooms
  2. 1onion diced
  3. 5 clovesGarlic diced
  4. 1/2 cup (1 stick)butter
  5. 2-3 tablespoonswhole wheat flour
  6. 2 cupschicken broth
  7. 1/2 cupmilk 1% or half and half
  8. 2-3 tablespoonspaprika
  9. 2 tablespoonsdill weed
  10. 2 spoonssour cream
  11. Top with diced Turkey bacon

Cooking Instructions

    Sauté diced onion and garlic in butter for five minutes.

    Add sliced mushrooms. Sauté on medium heat for ten minutes, adding the dill weed and paprika in the last 7 minutes.

    Add flour. Cook for five minutes.

    Add broth. Then milk. Cook for five minutes. Add sour cream. Cook 3-5 minutes more.

    Serve with crisp sliced turkey bacon.
