Remove the brown layer from the coconut.Use the white part,in a grinder take coconut,dalia, green chillies, garlic, curry leaves, tamarind, sugar, salt, haldi, Kotmir,grind adding water.

For Tadka: Heat oil.Add Rai let it crackle add Urad dal, curry leaves, Red chilli,hing when cooled add it to chutney.
