Cabbage you all know Pappu means dal. In this version of Dal tamarind pulp is used .No Tomatoes are used and best serve with Ghee, pickle with hot rice.

Cabbage you all know Pappu means dal. In this version of Dal tamarind pulp is used .No Tomatoes are used and best serve with Ghee, pickle with hot rice.
Steps

Wash dal and soak little bit of tamarind. Cut cabbage into pieces

Pour in a cooker. Add cumin,mustard,asafoetida,Chillies,curry patta and garlic. Then add washed daal then cabbage fry for 10 minutes.

After that add salt, tamarind and haldi. I didn't extract tamarind pulp simply added soaked seedless tamarind into dal. Cook for 2 whistles and 5 minutes in low flame.
